Big News!

It has been in the works for a while, but I had to keep quiet until today. It is now official. I have been called as the associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, SC. I will start on Jan 1st. I'm very excited! It is a general associate position which will include preaching, teaching, and pastoral care, but will lean heavily towards increasing mission, and new membership. I won't be ordained until probably March because this presbytery only meets quarterly. That said, I've been examined by the Committee on Ministry and am just biding my time, working in an unordained capacity until the early spring. Pretty Exciting! (And nice to get to start after the madness of Christmas.)
